Find out all about Abita Grows and the St. Charles Street Community Garden!

Libertarians promote Food Freedom. We support local farmers and fishermen and we want to reduce unnecessary and burdensome government regulation. This year we are working to support a Legislative bill, SB238 by Senator Eric LaFleur, that will legalize the sale of raw milk, or real milk, from farmer to consumer. We are also supporting HB79 by Rep Burford that will reduce regulation of cottage industry raw honey. We are also OPPOSED to a Crawfish bill, HB438 by Lambert, that would set a minimum size for live crawfish and drive up the price. Libertarians Love Crawfish, we promote free markets, and we support Food Freedom!
